THE SUPERIOR LABOR's directly managed store is located in Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, one of Okayama Prefecture's leading tourist destinations and a symbol of history, culture and art.
It opened in 2022 in a commercial facility that was renovated from the site of the Hayashi family and Hayashi Genjuro store, which has been in the pharmaceutical business in this area since 1657 and has devoted itself to the health and welfare of the local community.
The store is housed in a two-story old house from the early Showa period, and the first floor is lined with many TSL products. It also hosts Kurashiki-exclusive products and seasonal events.
The second floor mainly sells TRAVELER'S notebooks, but also sells second-hand records and film cameras, creating a product lineup that is typical of Kurashiki, allowing you to become acquainted with the good old things that will become travel mementos.
As a partner shop and customization shop for Traveler's Notebook, we offer special services that only our Kurashiki store can provide. We look forward to seeing you in Kurashiki.
Customizing your Traveler's Notebook
- TRAVELER'S notebook customization is only available for new notebooks purchased from our store.
- Customization of your TRAVELER'S notebook will generally take approximately 14 days for delivery.
*Free shipping for purchases over 15,000 yen.
*Depending on the level of congestion and the content of customization, we may be able to deliver the product on the same day.
It depends on the situation on the day, so please ask the staff at the store on the day you visit.

A workshop and store where you can experience the roots and craftsmanship of THE SUPERIOR LABOR.
Head south on the main street in front of Kurashiki Station, turn right at the traffic lights at the corner of Kurashiki City Central Library, and about 50 meters ahead you will see this sign and a Rabbit scooter.
This place is half workshop and half shop, and there is no door separating the workshop from the shop, so you can see freshly baked goods lined up. Just like a local bakery.
